Welcome, I'm very happy you're here!

Hi, I am Maren. I’ve been practicing meditation for many years now, and it has changed my life so much for the better with its ability to reveal our innate well-being.

This was the inspiration to become a meditation teacher beside my work in communications and coaching allowing me to share these beneficial practices with others.

Whether you’re curious about meditation or already have a practice, this is a space for exploration and growth.  Meditation is more than just a way to relax. It opens the door to personal discovery and transformation.

Each meditation session is an opportunity to pause, reconnect, and nurture your well-being in a warm and peaceful space.

Modern science, including research from Harvard University, continues to validate what many of us notice in our daily lives: meditation improves our well-being. They have shown that meditation can in fact reduce stress and improve both mental and physical health.

What is meditation

Meditation is simpler than you might think, yet more profound than most people realize.

At its essence, meditation isn’t about achieving peace or blocking thought, it’s about discovering who you truly are.

Think of your mind like the sky, and your thoughts and emotions as clouds passing through it. Just as clouds don’t change the fundamental nature of the sky, your thoughts and feelings don’t alter your innate capacity for awareness, compassion, and wisdom. Meditation helps you recognize and connect with these natural qualities that are already within you.

Many people believe meditation requires sitting cross-legged for hours in perfect silence.

The truth is, meditation can happen anywhere, at any time. Whether you’re walking to work, washing dishes, or waiting in line at the grocery store—these moments can become opportunities for practice. The key isn’t to change your experience but to be present with whatever is happening.

Through meditation, you’ll discover that you don’t need to wage war with your thoughts or transform yourself into someone different. Instead, meditation invites you to:

be present

Rather than getting lost in thoughts about the past or future, you can learn to rest in the simple awareness of this moment.

be kind

Instead of fighting with yourself or your experience, you can cultivate a gentle, accepting attitude toward whatever arises.

be curious

Rather than taking your thoughts and emotions at face value, you can explore them with genuine interest and openness.

The beauty of meditation lies in its simplicity. You don’t need special equipment or a perfectly quiet environment. All you need is the willingness to show up and get to know your own mind. With consistent practice, you’ll discover that the peace and wisdom you’ve been seeking have been with you all along.

Whether you’re dealing with stress, seeking greater emotional balance, or simply wanting to live with more presence and authenticity, meditation offers a practical path forward. It’s not about reaching some perfect state of mind—it’s about making friends with your experience exactly as it is.
